Prof.dr. Svetlana Khapova

Prof.dr. Svetlana Khapova is appointed Fenna Diemer-Lindeboom chair of Careers and Organization Studies

VU University Amsterdam has launched the Fenna Diemer-Lindeboom (FDL) chair programme in order to promote female scientific talent on its way to the top and to address the lack of female full professors.

The naming of this specific FDL chair reflects Khapova's research focus on Careers and Organization Studies. Her research concerns careers and career investments of contemporary employees. She is especially interested in the link between individual careers and organizational growth and innovation.

At the same time Svetlana is the scientific director of the Amsterdam Business Research Institute (ABRI). She is one of the leading founders of the institute. ABRI caters for research and graduate education in business and organization, and is a collaboration of three faculties of two universities (Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and Faculty of Social Sciences of VU University Amsterdam, and Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Amsterdam).
