Call open: Distinguished Lorentz Fellowship
The call for the Distinguished Lorentz Fellowship (DLF), for which the LNVH is official nominator, is opened. The Distinguished Lorentz Fellowship (DLF) is awarded annually to a leading researcher to work on cutting-edge research at the interface between the humanities and social sciences on the one hand and the natural and technological sciences on the other. A Distinguished Lorentz Fellowship consists, among others, of a fellowship at NIAS for 5 to 10 months between September and June at the Netherlands Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities and Social Sciences (NIAS-KNAW). The NIAS-Lorentz Program is a collaboration between NIAS and the Lorentz Centre, and is supported by the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Science (KNAW), the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO) and Leiden University.
We welcome suggestions from our affiliates for or ideas about high potential candidates preferably before October 21st 2020 via info@lnvh.nl. Please include a recent CV of the candidate proposed by you and a brief substantiation of your nomination.
